About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Full Stack Software Engineer, you will collaborate directly with public sector partners to rapidly build comprehensive AI-powered solutions addressing their urgent needs, thereby enhancing citizen services through advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical strategist for public sector projects, translating undefined mission objectives into effective architecture plans and guiding on-site implementation efforts.
• Design and lead the creation of foundational frameworks for scalable, production-ready AI applications merging interactive front-end interfaces, back-end systems, and AI models.
• Oversee the development and progression of cloud infrastructure ensuring security, scalability, and durability across environments.
• Manage the creation of core platforms and shared services to satisfy wide-ranging global client requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership across departments to drive the technical roadmap, mentor both senior and junior engineers, and promote a unified, scalable technical architecture.
• Translate practical client experiences into reusable engineering patterns to enhance the overall engineering team’s capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science or substantial equivalent experience in designing intricate, distributed systems.
• Over ten years of full-stack development experience with Python, Node.js, and React, and a demonstrated history of architecting large-scale solutions on Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in delivering production-grade systems with top-tier standards for security, integrity, and scalability.
• Proven ability to deploy and troubleshoot complex, secure end-to-end solutions in high-security environments.
• Self-motivated leadership skills, adept at resolving uncertainty, guiding senior team members, and setting technical direction.
• Experience fostering asynchronous workflows and documentation-centric cultures to boost engineering efficiency worldwide.

Desirable Qualifications

• Previous roles as a startup CTO, founding engineer, or forward deployed engineer with direct customer engagement.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with operations teams.
• Expertise in building LLM-based solutions with strategic insight for adapting to future industry trends.
• Proficiency in Arabic language.
