Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Storeperson/Driver to join our dedicated Launceston team. This role offers competitive remuneration, comprehensive learning and development opportunities, and a welcoming workplace culture.
Role Responsibilities
- Handle general warehouse duties including loading, unloading deliveries, processing and dispatching customer orders, receiving goods, recording purchase orders, and conducting stocktakes.
- Maintain accurate inventory and pick and pack items efficiently.
- Perform housekeeping tasks in the showroom and warehouse areas.
- Operate vehicles responsibly, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety culture.
- Deliver excellent customer service and support sales to a broad spectrum of trade customers in the electrical sector.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling and lifting tasks.
- Experience in customer-facing roles or warehousing.
- Certified forklift operator.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated to health and safety standards.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Previous involvement in the electrical or trade supply industry is advantageous.
