Role overview
A rapidly expanding FMCG company in Cheshire is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the full supply chain journey across overseas operations. The role is practical and broad in scope, with responsibility spanning from raising purchase orders through to final delivery to customers.
Key duties
You will manage the movement of goods from manufacturing partners in the Far East, coordinate international freight, and oversee import and export processes as well as bonded warehouse activity. This position also involves leading a team of two and serving as the main point of contact for freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party suppliers.
Experience and knowledge needed
Strong hands-on experience with shipments handled under FOB, EXW, DDP, and DAP terms is required. You should also bring a solid understanding of customs processes, landed cost calculations, and international logistics within a regulated business environment.
