Role Overview

In the role of Team Leader, you will oversee daily leadership, guidance, and support for your team, ensuring adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards. The role involves nurturing a positive and high-achieving team atmosphere while maintaining strong client and stakeholder connections. It is a hands-on leadership position balancing operational management, talent development, client relations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a claims management team to achieve peak performance
• Ensure services are delivered in compliance with agreements and SLA requirements
• Cultivate and sustain strong, positive relationships with clients
• Monitor team performance, offering coaching, feedback, and support
• Manage induction, training and career development processes for team members
• Drive continuous improvement efforts aligned with ISO 9001 standards
• Maintain compliance with applicable legislation and ethical quality standards
• Promote a proactive health and safety culture within the team
• Identify and pursue opportunities for service expansion with current and potential clients

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
• Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively
• Experience mentoring, training and developing personnel
• Sound understanding of health and safety principles, including ACC legislation
• Strong organizational skills with effective time management
• High attention to detail and a commitment to compliance standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Holds a full, clean driver’s licence
• Background in ACC claims management, case management or a related field is highly desirable
