Technical Lead – Application Development

About the Role

Pixart Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join their expanding startup team. This is a full-time onsite position requiring hands-on involvement in application development and team management. The company emphasizes a growth-focused environment that prioritizes real-world skill application, ownership, and impactful contribution over corporate luxuries.

Work Schedule and Location

This role is based at the Bengaluru Sunkadakatte office with working days from Monday to Saturday and shift hours from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Lead and guide developers by providing clear technical direction.
• Assign tasks, establish timelines, and monitor daily development progress.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to uphold coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to applications, databases, servers, and integrations.
• Analyze root causes of problems and implement robust solutions.
• Manage projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks impeding project delivery.
• Mentor team members and promote accountability.
• Collaborate with management, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment.
• Manage critical production incidents to maintain project timelines.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience in application development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, Python, and SQL for backend and frontend development.
• Experience with application architecture and building scalable systems.
• Proficiency in REST API development and integrating third-party services.
• Database schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning abilities.
• Competence in Git version control, deployment processes, testing methodologies, debugging, and production support.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, security best practices, and coding standards.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Ability to independently write, review, debug, and optimize production-quality code.
