Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and timely processing of freight operations.
- Maintain accurate and prompt data entry in operational systems.
- Monitor and report on Transcon files and shipments.
- Handle accurate and timely billing for clients and vendors.
- Manage delivery schedules and timely customs clearance of freight.
- Coordinate shipments in alignment with customer service expectations.
- Develop and sustain effective supplier relationships.
- Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements always.
- Respond promptly to network communications, emails, and requests.
- Achieve key performance indicators as per company standards.
- Familiarize with customer procedures and update internal standard operating procedures accordingly.
Candidate Profile
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent education combined with experience.
- Knowledge of ocean freight documentation is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, able to listen, understand, and communicate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Proactive approach with excellent organizational capabilities.
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Certification in Hazardous Materials handling is preferred.
- Fluency in English language required.
