Position Summary

The role of UI Development Specialist / Graphic Designer entails designing and implementing user interfaces for touchscreen kiosks, web, and mobile applications. This position combines graphic design skills with front-end development, branding, and user experience to deliver visually appealing, user-centered, and functional products. The role suits a versatile professional who enjoys both creative design and interactive interface development.

Key Responsibilities

Craft user-friendly interfaces for touchscreen ticket machines and kiosks.
Build responsive web and mobile interfaces utilizing current front-end technologies.
Produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to support design concepts.
Design icons, illustrations, animations, and graphical interface elements.
Develop branding assets including logos, product packaging, marketing materials, and trade show visuals.
Collaborate closely with software developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
Maintain uniformity across digital products through a consistent design system.
Conduct usability assessments and propose interface enhancements.
Prepare production-ready design assets suitable for developers and manufacturers.
Contribute to product documentation, including instructional graphics and user manuals.
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in UI/UX design.
A comprehensive portfolio showcasing both design and front-end development projects.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience creating responsive user interfaces.
Solid grasp of typography, color theory, layout design, and accessibility standards.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Background in designing touchscreen kiosk applications.
Knowledge of Raspberry Pi or embedded device interfaces.
Ability to create animations using After Effects or Lottie.
Familiarity with Material Design or Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
Experience with Git version control.
