Position Overview

The waitress is responsible for preparing the dining area before service and ensuring it remains clean, organized, and presentable throughout. Additionally, the role involves actively serving customers during their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in morning cleaning activities within the restaurant.
• Ensure all service utensils are thoroughly cleaned before each service period.
• Assist the captain waiter with setting up the restaurant.
• Maintain a neat personal appearance along with a high standard of hygiene.
• Support the captain waiter with mise en place (preparations) before service.
• Deliver food items from the kitchen to the dining area.
• Aid the captain waiter in placing food plates on customers’ tables.
• Replace ashtrays and refill water glasses for guests during service.
• Clear tables promptly after meals and clean surfaces thoroughly.
• Transport used plates and glasses to the dishwashing area efficiently.
• Work collaboratively under the captain waiter’s supervision, following instructions closely.
