About the Company
Special Situation Advisors India Private Limited (SSA) is a niche investment banking and advisory firm focused on distressed assets. The firm advises financial institutions that are looking to sell NPA portfolios and also supports distressed businesses that need investment to turn around. Its client base includes institutions such as State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Andhra Bank. SSA is also expanding into a new healthcare and senior-citizen related business. Role Overview
This internship is for a business development and sales profile based in Navi Mumbai. The intern will work with institutional clients and support lead generation, outreach, database management, reporting and presentation preparation.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to banks and NBFCs across India and present the firm’s advisory services in a clear and confident manner.
- Identify, generate and evaluate institutional leads.
- Keep call logs and follow-up pipelines organised and up to date.
- Study lenders and map the relevant decision-makers within each institution.
- Create and maintain institutional databases.
- Support meeting coordination and help prepare PowerPoint presentations for client interactions.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and performance summaries.
- Work with senior leadership to analyse data and share useful insights.
Requirements
- Candidates should be comfortable working full time from the office.
- The internship must be started within the specified joining window and continued for 6 months.
- Relevant interest and skills in sales, outreach and institutional business development are expected.
