1st-Level Support IT Service Engineer

Main Responsibilities

• Handle IT hotline requests via phone in German and English, including thorough documentation.
• Provide 1st-level support by receiving incidents and service requests through phone, email, or ticket system.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely or directly at the employee’s workplace and install new hardware and software components.
• Support users in effectively utilizing our applications during daily operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes and the IT environment.
• Manage smaller projects within the Service Desk scope such as evaluations, rollouts, and standardizations.

Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or an equivalent technical qualification with further education in IT.
• Strong dedication to service and passion for outstanding customer support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
