Academic Counselor

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and performance-oriented Academic Counselor to join the team at Gold's Gym Fitness Institute, part of Cult.fit. The role involves actively promoting and selling certificate courses such as fitness certifications, personal training, and group fitness certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales by converting leads into enrollments, aiming to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
• Generate new business by identifying and pursuing potential customers through prospecting and networking.
• Design and execute sales strategies including promotions, discounts, and product bundling to increase course sales.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and promoting institute offerings.
• Assess customer needs to recommend appropriate certificate courses, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster positive and memorable experiences.
• Handle sales-related administrative duties such as maintaining sales data, managing leads, and producing sales reports.
• Regularly update Sales Manager or Institute Head on sales performance metrics and suggest areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant academic qualifications in sales, marketing, or similar disciplines.
• Minimum one year experience in sales, ideally within the education or fitness sectors.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills capable of engaging, persuading, and building rapport.
• Demonstrated competency in sales techniques, including negotiation and deal closure.
• Knowledge of fitness industry trends and certifications related to personal training and group fitness.
