About the Role
We are offering an exciting full-time position as an Allocator within the Regional Concrete Team at our Mugga site in Symonston, Canberra. This role involves planning driver schedules to align with customer orders and provides extensive insight into our concrete operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the allocation of concrete and support customer service-related administration duties.
- Handle a substantial number of phone calls daily, reaching up to 50 during peak times.
- Process order bookings and carry out general office administrative tasks during quieter periods.
- Track job completions and prepare schedules for the following day.
- Utilize Command software to oversee orders and follow up on significant orders at week’s end.
- Organize and roster drivers for the fleet to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate directly with customers to confirm orders and guarantee prompt delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferably experience in real-time scheduling or dispatch roles.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with a solutions-driven approach.
- Ability to effectively work across multiple information systems.
- Excellent problem-solving capacity, prioritization skills, and adaptability.
- Capability to perform well under pressure in fast-moving environments.
- Superior interpersonal and communication abilities.
