Role Overview
As the APAC Badging Manager, you will plan, initiate, and scale regional badging, physical identity, and access control initiatives across APAC and sub-regions. This position holds end-to-end responsibility for badge operations and access management, ensuring close alignment with the Global Badging Office and harmonizing regional processes with global best practices. The role involves managing the APAC badging team, driving operational efficiency via performance metrics, and leading continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Act as a trusted consultant to the ACS Leadership Team and Regional Security Managers to optimize badging and access control operations.
- Serve as the regional contact for the Corporate Security Badge Office, maintaining adherence to policies, standards, and program directives.
- Implement and customize global badging best practices throughout APAC while ensuring compliance with the Corporate Global Badge Policy.
- Lead strategic improvement and change management projects to elevate security measures, process efficiencies, and team skills, including drafting project plans and white papers.
- Manage and analyze operational metrics such as SLA adherence, badge issuance volume, audit results, and compliance adherence to foster continuous improvement.
- Oversee access control and visitor management system performance, coordinate troubleshooting, and collaborate with technical security teams as needed.
- Supervise the APAC badging team under the Regional Operations Manager’s guidance, managing workload distribution, development initiatives, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance of badging operations with Occupational Health and Safety and other relevant regulatory mandates.
- Administer access permissions, approval groups, and maintain the accuracy of all access control records, supervising quarterly audits conducted by local leads.
- Handle import/export logistics for badging supplies and maintain inventory and records meticulously.
- Carry out additional badge and physical identity access duties as delegated by senior management.
- Perform any other assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of explaining complex topics clearly.
Working Conditions
