Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Assistant Digital Merchant plays a vital role in implementing the digital merchandising strategy. This involves ensuring precise product setup, accurate pricing, and engaging online presentation to deliver an exceptional customer journey. Responsibilities include:

• Executing product setups, updating prices, and validating content for consistency and accuracy across the website.
• Managing and enhancing category navigation, taxonomy, and product attributes to improve the shopping experience.
• Conducting quality assurance checks on product details, category pages, and promotional placements.
• Supporting digital floorsets, product launches, and seasonal updates to ensure they are executed correctly and on time.
• Monitoring website performance metrics and assisting with reporting to spot potential areas for enhancement.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, operations, and technology teams to guarantee readiness and execution precision.
• Proactively identifying and escalating issues while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of experience in eCommerce, merchandising, retail, or related fields.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with eCommerce platforms or content management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities combined with a cooperative and team-oriented approach.
