The role will own troubleshooting, configuration work, and system tuning across the full project landscape.

  • Act as the single point of contact for the project across all locations.
  • Take ownership of escalated incidents from L2 and carry out root cause analysis.
  • Implement policy updates on NGFW, SSLO, WAF, and similar platforms according to customer needs.
  • Handle advanced configuration and issue resolution for SLB, LLB, PAM policies, VPN tunnels, and related systems.
  • Improve overall performance and strengthen the security stance of deployed solutions.
  • Engage with OEMs for defect fixes, enhancements, and patch coordination.
  • Support HCI server upkeep and virtualization-related activities.
  • Work closely with client cybersecurity and network teams to keep policies aligned.
  • Assess the impact of major changes, upgrades, and version migrations.
  • Take part in DR exercises, failover validation, and benchmarking activities.
  • Contribute to audits, compliance reviews, and ongoing security assessments.
  • Run quarterly service reviews and help ensure L2/L3 SLA commitments are met.
  • Share knowledge regularly and train L2 team members.
  • Oversee L2 staffing, shift coverage, and capability development across the team.
  • Keep documentation, change records, and configuration backups current.
  • Set up SSL offloading rules using application-specific certificates.
  • Check failover readiness for DR environments, including replication at the HCI layer.
  • Tailor dashboards and alerting rules within NMS or monitoring tools.
