About the Organisation

About the Role
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Workplace Innovation, this role functions as the team’s specialist in innovation and productisation. The position has two major focus areas: building workplace learning solutions that are grounded in pedagogy and can be scaled into market-ready offerings, and advising funded innovation projects to improve their learning design, adoption potential, and readiness for the market.
The role requires close collaboration across teams to connect different programmes and improve overall outcomes. The successful candidate will be based at the IAL Campus at Lifelong Learning Institute, near Paya Lebar MRT station.
Workplace Learning Solutioning and Productisation
- Create workplace learning interventions that can be packaged into scalable solutions, covering the full journey from needs analysis and solution design to piloting, refinement, and launch, while ensuring the work is guided by adult learning principles, performance-focused design, and evidence of effectiveness.
- Develop support materials such as solution briefs, facilitation guides, case studies, and toolkits, and coach consultants so they understand the educational foundations and practical use of each solution when presenting them to enterprise clients.
- Track how solutions are adopted, collect feedback from enterprises, and use the insights to refine existing offerings and identify future learning needs.
- Help grow the team’s knowledge base by contributing frameworks, design approaches, and methodologies for workplace learning and needs analysis.
Learning Design and Innovation Advisory
- Provide expert advice to funded project teams on improving the learning design, scalability, enterprise suitability, and packaging of their innovations.
- Review learning interventions at important project stages and give structured feedback to improve both educational quality and commercial viability.
- Perform other related duties as needed, with responsibilities adjusted according to business requirements and industry changes.

Requirements
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, learning sciences, instructional design, education technology, adult education, business management, or another relevant discipline. A mix of education and business qualifications is considered an advantage.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in learning design, instructional design, curriculum development, or adult education, with clear ability to apply adult learning theory and pedagogical principles to learning intervention design and evaluation.
- Background in business development, product management, or strategic planning within education or learning and development environments is also acceptable.
- Experience turning learning solutions into scalable products or services, including packaging, delivery model design, and consultant enablement for enterprise use, is highly desirable.
- Strong business sense and understanding of how organisations invest in workforce development, including the ability to assess demand, build value propositions, and position solutions for adoption.
- Prior experience in the Training and Adult Education sector or in enterprise learning and development roles is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and enterprise clients.
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability, with sound judgement and the capacity to interpret current and emerging workforce development and continuing education issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Proven capability to meet deadlines and deliver on KPIs.
