Role Overview
The Associate – Information Technology position focuses on delivering top-tier IT support and customer service by efficiently handling client inquiries, prioritizing requests, documenting issues, and resolving problems promptly. The role involves regular communication with users through telephone interactions within a dynamic helpdesk setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide initial IT support across all business units for a wide range of IT inquiries and issues.
- Offer hotline assistance outside standard office hours, including holidays and weekends, as required.
- Assist with troubleshooting and respond to questions regarding all IT products and services.
- Coordinate, test, and review change requests submitted by MAF Retail personnel.
- Maintain detailed records of ticket progress through journal entries and close tickets upon successful resolution.
- Ensure solutions effectively address user problems by following up via verbal communication or email.
- Support implementation activities to enhance operational productivity, performance, and efficiency.
- Report any incidents or actions that could disrupt company operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience ranging from zero to two years in IT department roles.
- Strong business communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
