Job Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain automated testing scripts leveraging Java and Selenium tools.
• Run automation test suites and interpret results to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct API testing and verify integration points between services.
• Build and manage test cases using the Cucumber BDD framework.
• Develop and enhance robust XPath locators to facilitate web automation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to maintain high-quality software releases.
• Identify, report, and follow up on defects until resolution.
• Engage actively in test planning, effort estimation, and initiatives to improve testing processes continuously.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 4 and up to 8 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong expertise in software testing methodologies and the software development and testing lifecycle (SDLC/STLC).
• Proficient analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in the banking domain is advantageous.
• Mandatory skills include hands-on automation testing, excellent Java programming skills, and extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Preferred skills are API testing, usage of the Cucumber BDD framework, XPath locators, developing test automation frameworks, and utilizing defect tracking and test reporting tools.
