Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and appealing look of bakery items including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Keep the bakery department fully stocked and prepared for daily operations.
• Ensure accurate labeling and pricing of merchandise.
• Comply with cold chain regulations, calibrate thermometers, record temperatures, and follow food handling, product rotation, and expiration date protocols.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and proper food safety handling procedures.
• Carry out processes related to ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and product labeling.
• Prepare bakery products by following precise thawing and baking instructions to maintain quality and presentation.
• Secure all displays correctly to guarantee safety and proper presentation.

Additional Information

The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at 16.35 CAD.
