About the Role and Company
ICON Strategic Solutions is recruiting Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) for their Functional Service Provider (FSP) program on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical company. This opportunity is ideal for experienced clinical research coordinators or clinical trial assistants eager to advance to a CRA position. The current position is for a CRA I, offering a full-time, permanent role with competitive compensation and benefits. Candidates must reside in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.

Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Research Associate is responsible for overseeing clinical study site activities to ensure strict adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and study protocols. Duties include reviewing regulatory documents, preparing site visit reports, and managing multiple projects. The CRA may also engage in study development, start-up, and close-out phases by reviewing protocols, preparing informed consent forms, creating key study documents, organizing and presenting at investigator meetings, collaborating on monitoring strategies, and completing other assigned tasks. Continuous professional development in clinical research is expected.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred education includes a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, clinical monitoring procedures, FDA regulations, and ICH guidelines.
- Willingness and ability to travel for site visits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
