Construction Planner

Overview

ProSource Group is seeking a skilled Construction Planner to join a leading main building contractor team in Dublin. This role is focused on a Data Centre project and involves supporting project delivery by creating, updating, and managing construction schedules to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project timelines using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site personnel to define task sequencing and construction methods.
• Monitor project progress continuously, detect any delays, and recommend corrective measures to meet deadlines.
• Develop short-term lookahead schedules along with preparing progress status reports.
• Incorporate planning processes with Building Information Modelling (BIM) through 4D sequencing when applicable.
• Assist in planning efforts related to tenders and initial programme development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in construction planning, typically ranging between 3 to 6 years.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction sequencing and applied methodologies.
• Proficient in utilizing planning tools, preferably Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with effective communication skills.
