Role Overview

The Construction Supervisor will facilitate the successful execution of ESCO construction projects, primarily supporting the Sacramento office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the project plan as directed by the Project Manager, ensuring alignment with scheduled timelines, plans, and specifications.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to guarantee customer satisfaction throughout project execution.
• Lead onsite operations, managing communication and coordination of installation activities with customers and building occupants.
• Oversee and coordinate all construction activities, including material procurement and acceptance.
• Develop and uphold a Quality Control Plan to maintain installation standards and site cleanliness prior to customer occupancy.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly look-ahead schedules to adhere to project timelines.
• Create site-specific plans and protocols ensuring strict implementation of Veolia's Safety Program to foster a secure work environment, meeting all safety and documentation standards.
• Gather necessary data from engineers, designers, inspectors, regulatory bodies, and property owners.
• Alert the Project Manager promptly about potential challenges, scheduling conflicts, or operational issues, and actively contribute to resolving them.
• Maintain comprehensive Daily Report logs and perform regular inspections to verify work progress.
• Keep project drawings and records precise and current.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Willingness to travel within the state to remote project sites, with possible onsite stays ranging from one to four weeks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a High School Diploma or GED certificate is mandatory.
• A minimum of three years' experience in construction supervision is required.
• Demonstrable history of managing engineering or construction projects successfully.
• Experience in managing large teams and supervising personnel effectively.

Skills and Knowledge

• Thorough understanding of construction industry standards, including familiarity with building codes, materials, and methods.
• Ability to interpret and comprehend construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, with aptitude to acquire new software tools.
• Capability to visualize and manage critical paths within project schedules.
• Skill in resource scheduling, monitoring, and forecasting to maximize operational efficiency.
• Judicious decision-making in seeking expert advice when necessary.
• Adaptability to evolving field conditions, employing practical solutions to address constraints.

Certifications and Licenses

• Valid California Driver's License is a must.
• Electrician Certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements

• The role demands the ability to spend extended hours walking or standing on construction sites, climbing ladders, and entering confined spaces to observe and supervise work activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $115,000 annually.
