Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst II safeguards critical data and assets by addressing threats and vulnerabilities impacting associates and consumers. This role supports The Home Depot’s cybersecurity functions including Architecture, Governance, Identity & Access Management, Internal Threat Operations, Issue and Compliance Management, Risk Assessment/Advisory, Security Consulting, Security Operations, Service Optimization, and Strategic Planning.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize data to develop solutions and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders (60%).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and resolve security issues (10%).
- Drive the execution of initiatives and projects, ensuring goals are met on schedule and solutions fulfill customer requirements (30%).
Additional Details
- Reports to a Manager or Senior Manager; no direct reports.
- Travel required is typically less than 10% and involves overnight stays.
- Work environment is predominantly sedentary with occasional light physical activity and mostly indoor office conditions.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Must be at least eighteen years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
- No formal leadership experience or certifications are required.
