Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at EllisDon, you will gather and clarify business requirements from stakeholders, utilize advanced statistical and data analysis skills to extract actionable insights, and develop clear, intuitive dashboards and reports. You will design and monitor key business metrics, collaborate with scrum teams to enhance data product value, and identify opportunities for new data acquisition and improved data handling processes. Additionally, you will support migrating data from legacy to new systems like Workday and financial platforms.

Experience and Skills Required

• A minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in an analytical role or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving abilities using quantitative methods.
• Experience in construction projects worth $50M or more, especially in civil or building sectors, is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools, with DundasBI experience being a plus.
• Database expertise including SQL, NoSQL, and relational databases.
• Competence in statistical software and languages such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, or Python.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python is a beneficial asset.

Compensation and Inclusion
