Overview
Shaha Enterprise, a long-established FMCG firm headquartered in Kolkata with operations extending across more than seven states, is looking for a dedicated Data Entry and Accounts Operator to oversee daily financial transactions and ensure precise and audit-ready accounting records.
Key Duties
- Maintain daily accounting activities including entries related to GST, stock, cash books, invoices, and purchases.
- Generate financial reports and Management Information Systems (MIS) regularly to assist management decision making.
- Perform thorough reconciliations such as cash and bank statement matching, ledger reconciliations involving parties and suppliers, and GST reconciliation.
- Handle generation of electronic invoicing and E-Waybill documentation efficiently.
- Maintain ledgers for parties, clients, and suppliers with accurate entries.
- Prepare summaries for filing returns related to Goods & Service Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Tax Collected at Source (TCS), Provident Fund (PF), and Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) contributions.
- Support audit activities including fieldwork, document preparation, ledger scrutiny, and voucher verification.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants should have at least two years of experience in data entry and accounts roles.
- Basic understanding of GST, MIS, ledger entries, and related accounting procedures is essential.
- Competence in MS Office, custom ERP software, and other data entry tools is required.
- Minimum educational qualification of a Bachelor's degree or higher.

- Salary Range: INR 19000 to INR 25500 per month, dependent on experience.
