About the Role
Corlann is seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our team as Day Support Facilitators in Miltown Malbay, County Clare. As a valued member of one of Ireland's top 150 employers, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. This permanent, full-time position involves working 78 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities
As a Day Support Facilitator, you will collaborate with a team to create and implement educational and developmental programs aligned with national standards. Your duties will include planning, preparing, and delivering these programs to diverse groups, ensuring they are tailored to the unique needs and capabilities of each individual. You will be responsible for fostering progress, monitoring development, documenting achievements, and adapting learning materials. Staying current with advancements in relevant fields, new resources, and teaching methodologies is essential. The well-being and welfare of the individuals you support will be your primary focus. This role demands a high level of professionalism, strong conflict resolution skills, and the ability to understand and empower individuals with varying perspectives.
Requirements
- A relevant third-level qualification at a minimum of Level 7 (Ordinary Degree) is required.
- Consideration will also be given to candidates with qualifications in Nursing (RNID), Teaching, Youth and Community Studies, Psychology, or Social Work.
- A positive attitude towards supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is essential.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a relevant third-level qualification (minimum Level 7 Ordinary Degree) or equivalent experience in fields such as RNID, Teaching, Youth and Community Studies, Psychology, or Social Work. A positive and committed approach to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is essential.
