Driver Labourer

About the Role

Our Welfare Services division offers portable chemical toilets and ADA-compliant wheelchair access units, as well as mobile eco welfare units. The Driver Labourer will be based in the depot and responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the workshop and yard, ensuring these areas are hazard-free and that tools are stored properly. Additionally, the role requires pressure cleaning all equipment departing the depot so it is prepared for customers, along with accurate fuel log updates. Duties also include loading, transporting, and collecting hire equipment from customer sites timely and professionally. At customer locations, you may need to perform equipment demonstrations and complete all related checks and paperwork precisely.

Note that regular service, cleaning, and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units are key responsibilities of this position.

About You

• Previous experience in a labourer capacity, ideally within a hire depot or yard setting
• A strong team player ready to assist colleagues with varied tasks as necessary
• Capability to independently manage work in a fast-paced depot while paying close attention to detail
• Possession of a full driving license is mandatory; holding a CSCS card and forklift license is advantageous
