Role Summary

The Quarto Group USA invites detail-focused and passionate students to join their New York team as Editorial Interns for the Fall 2026 Internship Program. This opportunity offers practical, hands-on experience in the publishing industry aligned with academic and professional growth.

Program Details

• Internship Duration: September 2026 to December 2026
• Work Schedule: Part-time, less than 30 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid model combining New York office attendance and remote work
• Extension Possibility: Chance to continue through Spring 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine manuscripts and page proofs ensuring correct grammar, style consistency, and clarity
• Develop and maintain tools such as art logs and book maps to track projects
• Participate in production meetings to observe and learn about teamwork across departments
• Conduct research supporting the ideation and development of book proposals
• Aid in preparing departmental presentations and gain insights into various publishing functions
• Facilitate communication between editorial, design, and marketing teams
• Compose and update marketing materials, including book descriptions and metadata
• Undertake individual projects under editorial supervision
• Provide assistance with other editorial and administrative activities as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution
• Pursuing a major in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and strong written communication skills
• A keen interest in publishing, editing, and illustrated books
• Capability to juggle multiple responsibilities and work independently as well as collaboratively
