Role Overview

We are seeking an entry-level software developer to join our small team and contribute to building and maintaining our AI employee platform. This role entails end-to-end product development, direct client interaction, and fast iterative delivery of new features. You will work closely with the founder and have significant ownership of the product's success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy new product features and custom applications swiftly and continuously improve them.
• Build and maintain AI agents that perform live calls, qualify leads, and book meetings directly into client CRMs.
• Integrate AI agents with multiple CRM tools such as GoHighLevel, Pipedrive, and Bonzo using technologies like n8n, webhooks, APIs, along with telephony services including Twilio and A2P/10DLC compliance layers.
• Design AI prompts and scripts to ensure the agents communicate naturally and persuasively as humans rather than bots.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues like malformed JSON data, webhook failures, and incorrect field mappings that cause leads not to be contacted.
• Facilitate client onboarding by gathering necessary information, activating the service, and explaining technical processes clearly.
• Contribute to other startup functions such as marketing and customer support as necessary to support overall progress.

Candidate Profile

• You are enthusiastic about dedicating yourself fully to one company and willing to work diligently beyond standard hours when required.
• You have hands-on experience coding and have successfully shipped real software projects or applications.
• You independently troubleshoot problems by researching documentation and tracking issues without needing continuous guidance.
• You obsess over detail and understand the critical points where minor errors can disrupt the workflow.
• You comprehend how to make AI conversations feel engaging and convincing to human users.
• You can confidently handle client communications and explain technical topics clearly.
• You are coachable, receptive to feedback, and motivated to improve rapidly.
• Residing in the US or Canada, you can work overlapping hours and are committed to showing up when launch deadlines demand it.

Additional Considerations

While experience with Twilio, CRMs, or voice AI is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We prioritize your ability to build and learn quickly over formal education backgrounds.

Preferred but Not Required

• Previous development of AI voice agents.
• Direct sales experience or familiarity with mortgage and lending domains.
• Writing prompts for conversational or sales AI.
• Starting side projects or businesses with real users.
• Comfort and flexibility wearing multiple hats including marketing and customer support in a fluid startup environment.

Compensation and Location

This is a full-time contract remote role for candidates located in Canada or the US, paying between 30 to 40 Canadian dollars per hour, translating to approximately 62,000–83,000 CAD annually. Equity potential is included for the right candidate.
