Role Overview

We are looking for a Façade CAD Drafter to join our Adelaide design team in a full-time, onsite position requiring presence at the Adelaide office Monday through Friday. This role is not eligible for remote or hybrid work. The successful candidate will collaborate with our designers, engineers, and project managers to create detailed and coordinated façade documentation for complex commercial constructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise design, shop, and fabrication drawings for façade elements.
• Develop detailed drawings for curtain walls, window walls, glazing, and tailored façade systems.
• Interpret architectural blueprints, structural details, and project specifications accurately.
• Coordinate drawing information across project, engineering, and manufacturing departments.
• Update drawings to reflect design revisions, review feedback, and approved changes.
• Assist in resolving queries related to design, manufacture, or installation.
• Maintain high standards of drawing quality and document control consistent with project demands and ISO 9001 quality protocols.
• Contribute practical, buildable, and cost-efficient façade design solutions.

Candidate Profile

• Resides in Adelaide with availability to work from the office Monday to Friday.
• Skilled in AutoCAD with strong technical drawing and construction detailing abilities.
• Holds relevant qualifications in drafting, building design, architecture, engineering or related fields.
• Able to interpret architectural and engineering documents meticulously.
• Attentive to accuracy, coordination, and revision control in drawings.
• Effective communicator with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Works well collaboratively and thrives in managing multiple competing tasks.
• Previous exposure to facades, glazing, aluminium systems, architectural metalwork, or commercial construction is advantageous.
