Role Summary

We are looking for a Finance Manager who is proactive and meticulous to manage financial reporting, audit completion, and periodic financial processes. Candidates should be qualified Chartered Accountants with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience possessing thorough knowledge of Ind AS and solid expertise in financial controls. The role demands collaborating with multiple teams to ensure accurate reconciliations and quarterly financial statements, benchmarking performances against listed peers.

Core Responsibilities

• Compile quarterly financial statements aligned with Ind AS standards and regulatory norms.
• Ensure all supporting documents reconcile with the Trial Balance every quarter.
• Conduct variance analysis and benchmark against publicly listed companies.
• Oversee month-end close procedures including accruals, provisions, and other adjustments.
• Finalize the computation of Cost of Goods Sold, aligning with business activities and inventory valuation.
• Validate expense provisions and confirm proper period cut-offs in collaboration with concerned teams.
• Coordinate and lead the statutory and internal audit closure processes, acting as the primary contact.
• Ensure adherence to Ind AS, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and promptly address audit questions.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology teams to maintain smooth and timely financial data flow.
• Mentor financial team members to enhance reconciliation, provision, and reporting accuracy.
• Enforce discipline in meeting financial closure deadlines.
• Implement robust internal controls over revenue, costs, and provisions.
• Review reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts diligently.
• Supervise working capital components and provide critical insights to management.

Qualification and Skills

• Must be a Certified Chartered Accountant.
• At least 2 years of industry-related finance experience.
• Comprehensive familiarity with Ind AS, financial reporting frameworks, and audit procedures.
• Capability to independently prepare quarterly financial statements and close audits efficiently.
• Strong analytical abilities, meticulousness, and capability to adhere to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments.

Preferred Expertise

• Practical experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of MIS reporting, budget management, and variance tracking.
• A process-driven approach with experience in financial process automation.
