Role Overview

The Fire Prevention Manager will support the Operations Division by overseeing fire safety compliance at the Alkharj bakery plant. This includes conducting thorough fire risk assessments, ensuring all fire equipment is routinely tested and documented, leading fire audits in collaboration with the divisional Health, Safety, and Security manager, and implementing fire training programs tailored to staff needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive fire risk evaluations across all plant zones, keeping records updated.
• Ensure systematic inspection and testing of fire safety equipment according to schedules with accurate record-keeping.
• Enhance fire safety awareness and standards among manufacturing plant employees.
• Execute regular fire audits both independently and coordinated with safety leadership.
• Design and deliver fire safety training sessions for all personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certified qualifications in fire prevention or firefighting from accredited institutions or governing authorities.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in fire prevention and firefighting within FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable fire safety laws and regulations.
• Active membership in relevant professional bodies related to fire safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
