Role Overview

The Fit-Out Procurement Specialist position requires a full-time, on-site presence in Doha and centers on procuring all necessary fit-out materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment for beauty salons and barbershops. The specialist’s duties involve supplier identification, negotiation, quotation comparison, issuing purchase orders, and scheduling deliveries to align with project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, securing competitive quotations.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to ensure value and quality.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders while maintaining timely delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams, designers, and contractors to verify technical needs and resolve procurement-related challenges.
• Maintain quality standards across all procured items.
• Track inventory levels for fit-out supplies and update procurement records accurately.
• Monitor vendor performance and contribute to the enhancement of sourcing methodologies.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in procurement or supply chain roles within fit-out, interior design, construction, or retail sectors.
• Expertise in vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and contract management, assessing proposals by cost, quality, and delivery.
• Proficient with procurement systems, ERP software, spreadsheets, and standard office tools.
• Knowledge of materials and equipment pertinent to beauty salon and barbershop fit-outs with a foundational grasp of technical specifications.
• Ability to interpret project documentation such as plans, bills of quantities, and specifications to define procurement requirements accurately.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors in a professional manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields; procurement or supply chain certifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with the GCC market and regulations, or prior experience in the region, is a plus.
• Fluent English communication is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is a beneficial asset.
