Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, visual inspections of residential properties.
• Evaluate the condition of plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling systems, and other home components for defects, safety hazards, and code violations.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment to inspect structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Prepare clear, professional inspection reports that convey inspection results and concerns in an understandable manner.
• Answer client inquiries and provide expert advice on addressing identified issues.
• Adhere to relevant industry standards and regulations to deliver accurate and comprehensive inspections.
• Communicate complex technical findings to clients in layman's terms.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• Valid driver's license along with reliable transportation.
• Licensed home inspector in the state of Ohio.
• Extensive knowledge of residential building systems, components, construction methods, and local building codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and software applications.
