Position Summary
This full-time, permanent position based in Galway, Ireland, operates on a hybrid model requiring approximately two days per week in the office. The Information Developer III role offers an opportunity to shape future technical documentation by working within a seasoned team to create and maintain clear, user-friendly technical materials supporting HPE's private cloud and infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update procedural, installation, and deployment documentation targeted at HPE Services teams.
- Produce precise, accessible, and audience-focused technical content to aid deployment.
- Craft deployment guides that support private cloud and infrastructure implementations within client data centers.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and technical stakeholders to gather, verify, and interpret complex technical information.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance documentation efficiency, consistency, and quality.
- Contribute to the evolution of documentation standards, workflows, and content creation practices.
- Manage concurrent documentation projects while maintaining high quality and deadlines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Information Developer, or similar role focused on technical documentation.
- Strong background in creating procedural and deployment content aimed at technical readers.
- Ability to grasp complex technical products, services, and infrastructure swiftly.
- Excellent written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with technical experts and managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfort working within team-based, collaborative environments.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with Tridion Docs and Oxygen XML authoring tools.
- Experience with markup languages such as XML, HTML, and Markdown.
- Knowledge of structured authoring and content management systems.
- Understanding of private cloud, infrastructure technologies, and virtualization platforms like VMware.
- Exposure to AI-assisted content creation and documentation tools.
