Role Overview
OUCU Financial is looking for a meticulous and proactive Information Security Analyst dedicated to safeguarding our credit union’s information systems, member information, and overall technology infrastructure. This position plays a vital role in supporting cybersecurity initiatives, assisting with security awareness campaigns, and partnering with leadership to ensure the enforcement of data security controls and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to daily security alerts and resolve security-related tickets.
- Assist with scheduled security reviews such as user access audits, password management oversight, and broader security audits.
- Support vulnerability management efforts including patching processes and research on emerging security threats.
- Create and maintain security awareness programs, including employee training sessions and contests.
- Facilitate vendor security assessments, including questionnaires, due diligence, and ongoing third-party risk oversight.
- Help ensure compliance of employee devices through management of encryption and secure access practices.
- Location-specific responsibility: This role is based in Athens, Ohio, requiring in-person interviews and initial training, followed by a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalent, though a degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or associated fields is preferred.
- A Security+ certification is mandatory. Candidates pursuing the certification will be considered if completion occurs before hiring.
- At least one year of experience in either technical support or information security roles.
- Basic understanding of information security principles and controls; experience with Microsoft 365 security tools like Defender, Purview, E5 is a plus.
- Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and security monitoring platforms is essential.
- Candidates must complete in-person interviews and initial onboarding in Athens, Ohio; hybrid work arrangement is permitted post-training.
