About ESR Group and Role Overview
Join ESR Group, a leading real asset management firm focused on New Economy sectors like logistics, data centres, infrastructure, and renewables in the Asia-Pacific region. We are currently looking for a commercially astute and analytically proficient Investment Analyst to support our Data Centres team in Australia. This opportunity involves contributing to portfolio management, financial analysis, strategic planning, investor communications, and joint venture activities across Australia's and Asia-Pacific's data centre assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve financial models, forecasts, valuations, and portfolio analytics to aid sound investment and business decision-making.
- Prepare detailed investor, management, and board reports, including annual business plans, presentations, and portfolio insights.
- Support portfolio management efforts, acquisition processes, due diligence, and broader strategic initiatives within ESR's expanding data centre platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams, joint venture partners, and external advisors to gather, verify, and analyze essential portfolio data.
- Participate in joint venture projects, compile investment committee documentation, and support investor outreach activities.
Candidate Requirements
- A tertiary degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Property, Engineering, or related fields.
- Between 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, fund management, consulting, or similarly analytical roles.
- Proficient financial modeling and analytical capabilities, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to convey complex information effectively.
- Experience or exposure to real assets, infrastructure, property, energy, or digital infrastructure sectors is a strong advantage.
