Role overview

This position is for a Java Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience across backend development, frontend UI work, cloud deployment, and application support. The role involves building reliable software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams, and contributing to quality, performance, and delivery across the development lifecycle.

Core responsibilities

• Build and support backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create responsive web interfaces using AngularJS.
• Develop and tune Oracle database solutions, including advanced SQL and performance optimization.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Maintain application scalability, stability, and performance through sound engineering practices.
• Partner with product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Take part in code reviews, design conversations, and technical planning.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve difficult production and performance issues.
• Help build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support smooth releases.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver software iteratively.
• Design, test, implement, and deploy software according to documentation, process, and quality standards.
• Maintain coding accuracy, technical documentation, and software configuration/version/quality management practices.
• Coordinate with project participants to improve productivity and meet delivery timelines.
• Work independently with limited supervision and use sound judgment to achieve results.
• Address complex or unusual issues by analyzing data and evaluating relevant factors.
• Review code regularly and help reduce technical debt.
• Handle confidential information appropriately and share information when suitable.
• Use problem-solving skills to research complex system issues and determine root cause and resolution.
• Contribute to an Artificial Intelligence project focused on Inquiry Management and Call Center Agent Assist.
• Take on additional special projects as assigned.
