Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

Flick TV invites applications for the position of Junior Data Analyst to join their team on a full-time, onsite basis in the United States. This entry-level role is suited for recent graduates or those early in their analytical careers who have a passion for data and deriving actionable insights supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, validate, and organize data drawn from various sources ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze data to discover trends, patterns, and valuable business insights.
• Develop regular reports, dashboards, and visual data summaries for management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to creation and upkeep of business intelligence reports and performance metrics.
• Facilitate data-driven decisions by delivering analytical recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and assist in tracking organizational performance.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for operational, financial, marketing, and strategic projects.
• Work jointly with cross-departmental teams to define reporting needs and business requirements.
• Preserve data integrity, adhering to governance protocols.
• Help automate reporting workflows and enhance data collection and reporting systems.
• Document all data origins, methodologies, and reporting processes comprehensively.
• Keep abreast of advancements in data analytics tools and best industry practices.

Candidate Profile

• Foundational understanding of data analysis, statistical methods, and reporting frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Preferable familiarity with SQL to query and retrieve data.
• Experience or exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or equivalents is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is an additional advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset coupled with critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to maintaining data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills enabling clear presentation of analytical findings.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a dynamic setting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines is preferred.
