Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

HT Labs is looking for a meticulous and analytical Junior Data Analyst to assist with data gathering, examination, and reporting tasks that facilitate well-informed business decisions. This role requires working closely with various teams to collect, clean, and interpret data, recognize trends, and produce meaningful insights. The successful candidate will build reports and dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and support analysis of business performance.

Key Duties

• Gather, cleanse, verify, and analyze data originating from diverse sources.
• Create and sustain reports, dashboards, and visual data presentations to aid decision-making processes.
• Track important KPIs and detect trends, irregularities, and patterns in data.
• Conduct data validation to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Offer data-driven insights and analytical advice to business groups.
• Prepare regular and on-demand reports for stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to capture reporting needs and business goals.
• Carry out basic statistical evaluations and interpret results.
• Contribute to data migration efforts, data quality assurance, and process enhancements.
• Document data definitions, reporting workflows, and analysis methods.
• Assist in automating reports and optimizing data-related operations.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and reporting challenges.
• Keep updated with the latest data analytics tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Strong analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, especially in data analysis and reporting features.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases and managing data.
• Basic familiarity with data visualization applications such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Understanding of statistical theories and data analysis methods.
• Knowledge of Python or R for analytics is a plus.
• Awareness of relational database structures and data modeling principles.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Capability to handle multiple responsibilities and cooperate within a team setting.
• Critical thinking skills to analyze and effectively communicate data insights.
