Position Overview

The Label Art Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects related to the creation, updating, control, and approval of label artwork to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires collaboration with various teams such as Regulatory Proofreading, Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Forecasting, Purchasing, and Engineering to guarantee accurate and efficient label revision processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create Drug Facts templates adhering to CFR-mandated formatting and labeling regulations.
• Incorporate private-label customer artwork style guidelines while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory norms.
• Examine and approve artwork submitted by external graphic agencies, confirming adherence to quality and regulatory criteria.
• Conduct meticulous proofreading and quality checks of labeling materials to verify accuracy, completeness, and product suitability.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle and workflow of artwork projects from start to final approval, including managing change control systems and printer proof reviews.
• Track and maintain full traceability and status updates of artwork during its development.
• Organize physical and digital filing systems to ensure easy access to approved artwork files.

Qualifications

Required:

• At least three years of professional experience in graphic arts or a related discipline.
• Expertise in Mac OS platforms and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong recordkeeping abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously while handling multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Preferred:

• Background in the pharmaceutical field is advantageous.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, 21 CFR compliance, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Understanding of printing technologies and production procedures is beneficial.

Work Environment & Schedule

This role requires physical presence at the Hauppauge, NY facility. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Remote or hybrid work options are not provided.
