Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Labourers to join our Base Division for the upcoming 2026 construction season. This seasonal opportunity provides a competitive wage along with benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, shoveling, raking, hammering pins, sweeping, and operating small compaction equipment including jumping jacks and tampers.
• Utilize a concrete chop saw and perform other relevant labor activities linked to project construction.
• Manually or mechanically position construction materials as required.
• Set up, inspect, and compact granular base materials to conform to project construction standards.
• Clear rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Raise and lower catch basins, manholes, and water valves as needed.
• Capability to endure extended working hours.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will excel in physically demanding and fast-paced environments. Possessing a valid driver's license is mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with equipment operators and other crew members to fulfill diverse tasks. A commitment to maintaining a safety-focused and accountable work environment, as well as fostering positive and respectful interactions with supervisors and colleagues, is essential.

Additional Conditions

• Applicants must have a clean driving record without major infractions.
• Passing a medical and fitness examination is required as a condition of employment.

Compensation

The pay rate ranges from $21 to $25 per hour.
