Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous Laser Cutting Operator to manage and operate laser cutting machines for precise cutting of metals and other materials. The candidate should possess practical skills in handling laser cutting equipment, the ability to interpret technical schematics, and uphold safety protocols while ensuring top-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and supervise laser cutting machinery.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and cutting programs accurately.
• Handle loading and unloading of materials like mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Choose appropriate machine settings including speed, power, and focus.
• Carry out quality inspections to verify dimensional precision and tolerance compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machines.
• Detect and report any faults in machines or defects in materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Achieve daily production goals and meet deadlines firmly.
• Strictly adhere to company safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience operating laser cutting or CNC machines.
• Knowledgeable about laser cutting machinery and software, such as CNC controls and nesting programs.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical upkeep and tooling processes.
• Keen attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Physically able to manage material handling requirements.
