Role Overview
We are looking for a proficient CO2 Laser Operator to join our production team located in Dwarka, Delhi. The operator will be responsible for engraving and cutting a variety of materials such as wood, MDF, acrylic, glass, and metal, converting digital designs into finely crafted physical items while maintaining precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up, calibrating, and running CO2 laser machines such as xTool, Sculpfun, and Atomstack during daily production activities.
- Handling materials by preparing surfaces, including sanding wood and applying masking tape on acrylic to avoid scorch marks.
- Using software tools like RDWorks, CorelDRAW, or LightBurn to import and prepare design files for laser processing.
- Conducting quality assessments on engraved products to ensure consistent engraving depth, clarity, and smooth edges.
- Maintaining equipment through regular cleaning of lenses and mirrors and resolving minor mechanical issues.
- Managing production schedules to meet timely delivery commitments for online orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- One to three years of practical experience operating CO2 or fiber laser machines.
- Technical expertise in adjusting speed and power settings tailored for different materials, such as preventing burns on wood/MDF, obtaining flame-polished edges on acrylic, and using marking sprays or attachments for glass and metal engraving.
- Proficiency in design software, particularly CorelDRAW or AutoCAD, is highly advantageous.
- Educational background of 12th grade completion or ITI certification in a related technical discipline.
Employment Details
- Full-time position with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Office location in Dwarka Sector 17, Delhi.
- Direct reporting to the Sales/Production Manager.
- Salary range between ₹20,000 and ₹30,000 monthly, depending on experience and skill assessment.
