Key Responsibilities

• Create and establish maintenance schedules aligned with the needs and capacity of Maintenance and Engineering Teams.
• Manage transactional maintenance planning within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) ensuring accurate issuance of work orders and purchase releases as per deadlines.
• Coordinate with the Facilities Team to handle capacity limits and ensure timely execution of facility maintenance work orders.
• Monitor and expedite overdue work orders to support the maintenance timetable.
• Generate and release work orders for the Maintenance and Engineering Teams following the established maintenance plan.
• Implement improvements targeting inventory control and mitigation of material shortages.
• Collect and report on established planning metrics to support overall facility performance indicators.
• Apply independent judgment and initiative to address daily operational activities effectively.
• Maintain regular communications with department leaders, internal personnel, external suppliers, customers, and EllisDon colleagues, consulting management on complex issues as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Post-secondary education in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience working with CMMS software.
• Certification such as APICS CPIM or CSCP, SCMP designation, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• At least two years of experience in maintenance planning within large-scale facilities.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and Access.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and maintenance management is preferred.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from 65000 to 75000 Canadian dollars annually.
