Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

As a crucial member of the operations team, the Maintenance Technician ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable functioning of all machinery and equipment.

• Execute planned maintenance tasks and swiftly address equipment failures to minimize production interruptions.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, investigate issues, and deliver effective solutions to support seamless production flow.
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules to improve machinery dependability and prolong service life.
• Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to facilitate smooth daily operations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and assist in managing spare parts inventory.
• Observe all health and safety policies and industry standards to uphold a secure workplace environment.

Skills and Experience

• Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or related engineering position, ideally in food manufacturing or production sectors.
• Comprehensive mechanical expertise with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Competency in reading and understanding technical blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Proficient in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of diverse machinery and production devices.
• Good communication skills and teamwork capability.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and availability for urgent call-outs as necessary.
