Manager - Design Governance

Overview

The role of Manager - Design Governance is a senior position within the Design Excellence (DEx) department at Qiddiya. The Design Governance team is tasked with establishing and upholding frameworks that secure consistency, high quality, and compliance across all projects under Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC). This function acts as the guardian of design principles, making sure all designs align with QIC’s objectives and distinctive identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply processes across QIC to review and ensure project compliance with Board-approved Computer Generated Imagery (CGIs) and interior and concept designs.
• Establish and maintain an up-to-date, centralized archive of Board-approved CGIs to facilitate reference and compliance verification.
• Carry out systematic design audits in collaboration with DEx teams across business units, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring adherence to approved designs.
• Partner with design, project management, and governance colleagues to integrate design standards and address compliance challenges.
• Compile detailed reports outlining compliance status, audit outcomes, and suggest measures for ongoing enhancement of design governance practices.
• Define workflows for governance processes including design reviews, approval mechanisms, and escalation paths.
• Work with DEx teams to detect discrepancies and enforce necessary corrective actions.
• Create dashboards and reports that enhance leadership’s visibility into compliance metrics.
• Employ digital tools such as Excel and Power BI to analyze data sets and develop visual dashboards facilitating informed decision-making.
• Provide mentorship for junior team members, assisting them in project coordination, documentation, and data analysis to foster their professional growth.
