Role overview
This position is for a manager to oversee precision machine shop operations for a manufacturing setup in Coimbatore. The role centers on improving cycle time and setup time, reducing rejections, coordinating maintenance, and managing the shop floor team.
Key responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day precision machine shop activities and ensure smooth production flow.
- Work on reducing S-time and cycle time while improving overall shop efficiency.
- Track rejection trends, identify causes, and support corrective as well as preventive actions.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance according to the schedule.
- Handle manpower deployment and supervision on the shop floor.
- Conduct and review monthly meetings and prepare progress reports.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
