Role Summary

The Manager - Training is responsible for creating and implementing a strategic technical training plan linked to business objectives and OEM standards. This role involves overseeing training activities nationwide, ensuring quality and consistency, and driving continuous enhancement of training delivery methods and curricula.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a detailed technical training roadmap in alignment with organizational goals and OEM requirements.
• Establish annual training schedules and certification targets for technicians, service advisors, and workshop controllers.
• Administer training budgets ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Supervise delivery of top-tier technical training across all service locations.
• Evaluate training success using post-training assessments, service KPIs, and feedback analysis.
• Maintain ongoing coordination with OEM training teams to guarantee curriculum alignment and certification standards.
• Serve as the main technical training contact for dealer workshops nationally.
• Continuously upgrade training quality, effectiveness, and efficiency to meet evolving industry, OEM, and customer demands.
• Develop and revise technical training programs, improve instructional methods, and standardize training procedures nationwide.
• Integrate training efforts closely with service-related KPIs, conduct gap analyses and competency mapping.
• Collaborate with OEMs to ensure early readiness in technical training.

Candidate Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a related discipline.
• Preferably certified as a master technician or trainer by a recognized OEM.

Knowledge and Skill Set

• Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems encompassing mechanical, electrical, hybrid, and electric vehicle technologies.
• Familiarity with diagnostic methods, troubleshooting techniques, repair operations, and OEM technical standards.
• Experience in aftersales operations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Expertise in technical training and coaching practices.
• Understanding of adult learning theories, digital learning platforms, and evaluation tools.
