Material Handler

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to carry out various cleaning activities aimed at sustaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within designated facilities. This integral position supports maintaining the overall appearance and hygiene of the workplace, enhancing a positive atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors alike.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This role operates from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a wage of $19 per hour, with payments processed weekly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Regularly perform cleaning chores such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and floor and surface polishing
• Sanitize restrooms, restock necessary supplies, and uphold hygiene protocols
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials following company guidelines
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass fixtures
• Properly maintain and store cleaning tools and supplies
• Communicate any maintenance problems, safety risks, or supply deficiencies to supervisors
• Assist in the preparation and cleanup for meetings, events, or special assignments when required
• Adhere to all safety standards and organizational procedures relevant to cleaning and sanitation tasks

Qualifications and Skills Needed

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety measures
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to maintaining high quality standards
